My in-laws have moved in

The biggest wildfire in the history of Colorado, called the Cameron Peak Fire, has come dangerously close to my Mother-in-law’s little cabin in the Big Thompson Canyon. A few days ago she got a warning for mandatory evacuation so hubby went up and helped move her and her boyfriend, Shane, down here to our house. I couldn’t imagine what I would do if I had to pack up just necessities and not everything that was special and dear.

The kids sure have enjoyed having her here and the help with the cooking has been nice too along with the company. This quarantine has me pretty isolated so it’s nice to converse with adults instead of toddlers all day.
